School Data Protection Addendum

This School Data Protection Addendum ("Addendum") applies to educational institutions that use Voxento and supplements the Voxento Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Purpose

This Addendum ensures that student data and education records are handled in a manner consistent with applicable student privacy laws, including FERPA, COPPA, and state student privacy laws.

2. Definitions

"Student Data" means any personally identifiable information or education records relating to students that are provided to Voxento by a school or its users.

3. Data Use and Processing

Voxento processes Student Data only for the purpose of providing the services to the school and as instructed by the school. We do not use Student Data for targeted advertising or commercial profiling.

4. Data Security

Voxento implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Student Data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

5. Subprocessors

Voxento may engage subprocessors to support service delivery. A current list of subprocessors is available upon request, and we will notify schools of material changes.

6. Data Return and Deletion

Upon termination of the school's account, Voxento will return or delete Student Data in accordance with the school's instructions and applicable law.

7. Compliance and Audits

Voxento will cooperate with reasonable requests from schools to demonstrate compliance with this Addendum and applicable student privacy laws.
